It's been 15 months since I posted to this blog, and I miss it every day. I love to write. I'm still writing, mostly professional letters, sometimes marketing pieces for my husband and a little bit on a...novel? I don't know what it actually is yet...right now it's thirteen pages of dialogue and vivid descriptions.
I'm still pondering the possibility of a cooking blog, maybe the Spoon Squad, maybe Amy's Cooking, maybe a name I haven't figured out yet. I also had another blog idea recently that would foster my daughter's creative writing skills. We have hundreds of parks in the Twin Cities metro and I've only visited a handful. Annelise has recently taken an interest in photography, so I thought she and I could start exploring our local park system, photographing the amenities and writing reviews.

The sculptures aren't the real focus of the park, it's the landscape itself.
